THE STORY BEHIND THE PAINTING
 
While traveling Mammoth Lakes CA with my family and our husky 'Snow' this summer, we join a horseback riding tour to the Red Mountain. 
This horse I was riding, was named Badger and he was the sweetest horse I've ever ridden. 
When we finished the ride, and I was waiting for my turn to get off his back, he was bending his neck to take a really long look at me. Like he was saying " It was a nice ride, and was nice meeting you". I was touched by his intelligent eyes and moved by the silent communication between us. I knew I had to paint him from my point of view (on his back) - so I did.
The original painting was sold as my first sale on Liberty Station SD ArtWalk 2022. A beginning of a great art show weekend! 
This is the print of my original painting :)

Printed to order on premium fine art paper. It has a beautiful, smooth finish which gives the feeling of the original watercolor painting.
