THE STORY BEHIND "SERENITY NOW"
 
(Yes, like the Seinfeld scene where serenity was more of a desperate yell than a state of mind, which, let’s be real, is how most of us get to serenity)😆.
 
She's a picnic-loving, book-devouring, bread-sharing, wine-sipping … with a sleeping owl on her glass.
 
Because obviously, nothing says “I’m calm” like balancing an unconscious bird on your cabernet.
 
She’s reading Coffee Magic - a totally real, definitely-not-made-up book (probably includes spells like "Espressus Patronum" and "Dark Roast Defense").
 
Once upon a caffeinated afternoon, I imagined the perfect peaceful moment:
 
a quiet picnic,
tall golden grass swaying,
fresh bread still warm from the oven,
and wine that doesn’t stain your teeth.
 
This piece was born from my love of magical realism - and also the deeply relatable desire to read a book without being interrupted, preferably with carbs and caffeine nearby.
 
Hope it makes you laugh, sigh, and maybe wish for a little picnic magic of your own.
