Transforming Original Art into Prints!

Updated: Apr 10

As I reflect on my own journey in the art world, I can't help but recall the initial hurdles and uncertainties that stood in my path.

I remember feeling like I wasn't tech-savvy enough to open an online store or build a website.

The fear of investing in expensive equipment or courses without any guarantee of returns loomed large, and the daunting task of capturing the essence of my art through photographs left me feeling overwhelmed and unsure of where to begin.

But, the urge to conquer the art world was stronger than any of my doubts, so I decided to dive headfirst into an awesome online photography course led by the fabulous Amy Eaton.

Then came the next hurdle: launching my second Etsy shop, BabyNoom, focusing on nursery art.

Here's where things got tricky - my whimsical paintings just wouldn't translate into high-resolution prints. They ended up looking dull and lacking that vibrant pop of color I wanted.

So, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work, tinkering with different methods until I stumbled upon one that worked like magic. Now, whenever I want to create a new print, I swear by this method.

I totally understand those fears that bubble up when you're just starting out.

So, I decided to reach out to my fellow artists and students and conduct a little survey. And you know what I found? Turns out, many artists are together in this boat!

A whopping 53% of artists expressed a desire to start selling their art but haven't taken the plunge yet.

Another 15% are already selling both online and in person,

while a staggering 92% showed keen interest in venturing into the world of art prints.

The common challenges they faced?

Taking high-quality photos of their art and transforming them into digital files with impeccable resolution.

Why you should sell your Art Prints?

Now, let's talk about the perks of diving into the realm of art prints.

Selling prints not only exposes your art to a wider audience but also provides a steady stream of income, helps you carve out a recognizable brand identity, and gives you valuable insights into what resonates with your audience. Plus, offering prints in different sizes adds a touch of versatility to your artistic repertoire.

This is my revenue from art sales for last year, and you can see that prints are by far the largest stream of income

As I always tell my students and fellow artists, the key to getting better at this is to take action!

Sure, there are other routes you could take – like relying on professional photographers and local print shops – but let's face it, that's a whole lot of hassle and dependency.

So, here's where I come in. I've crafted a full course tailored specifically for artists like you.

In this course, I'll guide you through each step of the process from mastering the art of photography to editing and creating stunning prints that showcase your unique style, to automating your selling process so you can make money while you're asleep, I've got you covered.

But here's the kicker – enrollment is open now, and I've got some exciting bonuses in store for early birds!
